Hi, everyone! We made this beautiful card at Jenn Lester’s card party today – it’s one of my favorites!
We used the Oh So Eclectic stamp set for the flower, and the Birthday Blooms for the greeting. Don’t you love the trellis cutout? That’s from the thinlits that come with the bundle (remember, bundles save you 10%) and taping a piece of the coordinating designer paper behind it.

Hello, stamping friends! I wanted to share with you this beautiful card designed by my friend Laura Barto, designer extraordinairre. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I can’t get enough of this stamp set, Petal Palette. I just love the watercolor look of all the images.
This card is using the gorgeous combination of Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. Notice the embossing on the left side of the card – that’s done with the floral embossing folder from the Petal Pair set. All of the coloring was done with both the light and dark shades of the Blends Alcohol Markers. Cutting out was super easy using the Petals & More Thinlits dies, and you can’t tell from the picture that the flower is covered with Wink of Stella glitter pen. A circle of Vellum Cardstock serves as a nice base.
The supplies come from the Petal Passion Suite in the spring catalog, pages 22-23. We never know what will carry over from the Spring to the new Annual catalog in June, so if you love this set, order it now. Remember that you get a 10% discount on the stamp set/framelit bundle.

Hello! I went to my friend Laura Barto’s “Fun Folds” class, and this was my very favorite card.
I love this stamp set, Petal Palette – I think the bird is just so cute, and I love the watercolor look of the roses.
This is a stand-up card. The picture below shows what the card looks like when it’s closed. Notice the floral embossing on the top of the card. Just that little extra touch that makes this card so beautiful.
I stamped and colored the bird and roses, and then cut them out with the matching framelits (save 10% on the stamp set/framelit bundle!) Isn’t the green leafy cutout pretty? That’s included in the framelits as well.
To make the stand-up card, cut your cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″ and 8-1/4″. I attached the greeting, “From the Heart”, with dimensionals so it serves as a stopper for the top of the card.
Other supplies were the Petal Passion designer paper, the Petal Burst embossing folder, and Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Blends (both light and dark.)

Hi, everyone! I’ve been waiting for Valentine’s Day to be over, so that I could show you this beautiful card made by my friend Suzanne Taylor in Texas.
See how it sparkles? Suzanne actually used the sparkly washi tape from the Myths & Magic Suite to make the candles! How incredibly clever!
The stamped bows and greeting are from the Picture Perfect Party Suite that I showed you yesterday. And of course some texture with the Stitched Shapes framelit and Glimmer Paper.
